    Suprativa is a non-profit, voluntary organization committed to the development and empowerment of underprivileged communities
    in Odisha, India. Focusing on key sectors such as health, education, environment, livelihood, road safety, science communication, disaster preparedness, 
    community media, and emergency relief, Suprativa works to uplift marginalized groups through integrated and compassionate interventions.

    Our mission is to bring hope, aspiration, and joy to everyone by unlocking the inner potential ("suprativa") within each individual.
    We envision a harmonious society filled with peace, happiness, and mutual respect, free from poverty, ignorance, fear, hunger, and exploitation.
  
  Our Objectives
  Main Objective
  
    To identify, prioritize, and resolve problems faced by the weaker sections of society using available resources through a structured, holistic approach.
  
  Other Objectives
  
    - Alleviate basic needs by helping the poor access food, clothing, and shelter
 
    - Combat social issues like child labor, illiteracy, alcoholism, blind beliefs, and gender discrimination through awareness and education
 
    - Provide legal education and aid to the poor, especially in cases of human rights violations
 
    - Conduct relief and rehabilitation for victims of natural disasters including floods, droughts, fires, and cyclones
 
    - Promote art, culture, sports, science, and literature; support economic growth through microfinance and entrepreneurship programs

    - 1993: Suprativa begins with youth-led social initiatives
 
    - 1994: Registered under Societies Registration Act (No. 19546/159 of 1993-94)
 
    - 1995: Expands focus to include major social development themes
 
    - 1997: Receives land from Mr. Bikash Mohapatra for office construction
 
    - 1998: Registered under FCRA (No. 104870155)
 
    - 1999: Office, library, and training center inaugurated at Fakirpada, Cuttack
 
    - 2006: Secures 12A and 80G registration for income tax exemptions
 
    - 2009: Receives unique ID from NITI Aayog (OR/2009/0001508)
 
    - 2015: Becomes a member of VIPNET, Vigyan Prasar (Govt. of India)
 
    - 2017: Renews FCRA registration under updated Act
 
    - 2018: Launches Radio Hirakhand, a community radio station in Sambalpur
 
    - 2021: Secures updated 12A/80G status for donor tax relief
 
    - 2022: Registers under Companies Act (CSR No. CSR00022011); Radio Hirakhand declared Lead Community Radio Station
 
    - 2023: Receives land donation in Udepur, Bargarh from Mr. Enkat Rao; FCRA renewed again for compliance
 
  
  Organizational Structure
  Executive Council
  
    The Executive Council, governed under the Societies Registration Act, is the highest administrative authority. It meets at least
    four times a year to oversee and evaluate all organizational activities. The Secretary, elected or selected by the General Body,
    acts as the Chief Functionary.
  
  General Body
  
    Holds annual meetings to assess progress and chart future strategies. Plays a vital role in overall governance and vision setting.
  
  Advisory Committee
  
    Comprised of subject experts, this committee offers strategic inputs and guidance to the Executive Council and ensures
    effectiveness and relevance in program delivery.
  
  Professionals & Volunteers
  
    A skilled team of professionals and a responsive network of volunteers implement Suprativa’s initiatives. Volunteers are crucial
    during disasters, awareness drives, and outreach campaigns.
  
  Financial Information
  
    Suprativa ensures financial transparency through regular audits, internal checks, and reporting. A Chartered Accountant conducts
    annual audits, and agency-specific audits are conducted when required. Funds are received from multiple sources including
    Government bodies, CSR initiatives, and voluntary organizations.
  
  
    Funding is carefully allocated through phased work programs aligned with available resources to ensure smooth execution and
    sustainability of all activities.
